Replacement Windows:
Cambridge™ Single-Hung and Double-Hung

Structurally strong

  • Single-hung and Double-hung styles match - the fixed upper sash on the single-hung is the only difference between the two.
  • Frame and sash are fully fusion welded for structural strength and durability.
  • 3/4" stainless steel, constant force balance system offers smooth sash travel and holds sashes in place when open.
  • Heavy-duty cam lock with adjustable keeper provides reliable alignment and positive locking.

Thermally efficient

  • 15/16" double pane insulated glass unit with Solarban® 60 glass and the Intercept® ULTRA low-conductance spacer and argon gas fill is standard.
  • Sash interlock adds security and thermal efficiency.
  • 1-3/8" high weatherstripped sill dam fights drafts and water infiltration.
  • Sill bulb provides a tighter seal against drafts and weather.
  • 5-degree true sloped sill directs water away from your home.

Attractive styling

  • NEW. Tilt-n-lock Hardware system - for a clean sight line at the meeting rail! No separate tilt latches, the cam lock does it all. Optional until June 1, 2009 when this system will become standard on all Cambridge windows.
  • Equal glass size in both sashes creates a balanced design.
  • Beveled exterior creates the look of traditional craftsmanship.
  • 45-degree mitered glazing bead contributes to the hand-made appearance.

Trouble-free operation and maintenance

  • Both sashes tilt in and can be lifted out on the double-hung and the lower sash can be tilted in and lifted out on the single-hung for easy cleaning.
  • Molded-in designer lift rails (on both sashes for double-hung and on lower sash for the single-hung) are curved for comfort.
  • Dual nite-vents limit sash travel for ventilation and added security.
  • Screen track keeps screen in place to block insects better.
  • Extruded locking half screens are standard.

Perfect-fit installation

  • Made-to-measure, custom made windows eliminate the need for filling or patching.
  • Contractor-friendly adjustments, components and accessories to meet wall thickness and material variations are built right into every window.
