The warranty label is one of the most important labels on our windows and doors. It is basically the product’s license plate and contains a variety of important information such as: order number, manufacturing date, product line, product style, measurements and the distributor it was purchased from. In the event that you have an issue with your Viwinco products, we will need the information on the warranty label to verify the status of the warranty and reference the order. With this information, we can then process a remake or ship replacement parts. This is why it is important to not remove the warranty label!

The National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) label provides you with a few different numbers pertaining to your windows or doors thermal performance. Here you can find your products U-Factor, Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC), Visible light Transmittance, and air leakage. Some of the ratings will fluctuate based upon product type, the type of glass being used, vinyl profile, and glass package. Thermal performance will also vary by location, since different glass packages are used in the north and the south. Because of this, it is important to understand your NFRC label to realize the value your new windows and doors are adding to your home.

The American Architectural Manufacturer’s Association (AAMA) label is a small golden label that signifies that the product you are receiving has been independently tested against industry standards and has received certification for air leakage, water penetration and wind pressure, ensuring performance and durability through the life of the product.

The Energy star label shows highlighted regions in the United States where your product qualifies for energy star. These regions are broken down by the Northern zone, North-Central Zone, South-Central Zone and Southern Zone. Based on your location, we will use different glass packages to enhance your energy efficiency, resulting in increased annual savings on your heating and cooling bills.

The screen label is applied to all of our screens and includes the order number, the line number the screen belongs to, the product type,  the measurements and which distributor ordered it. The screen label helps to keep track of the screen from production through installation.

Once a window or door is complete, it is packaged up and then a shipping label is put on. The shipping label includes what distributor it is going to, their customer’s name, the product type and specs, the order number, what number window it is in the order as well as the shipping route and ship date. This allows us to easily identify what the product is and who it belongs to.
