We had a transom window installed above our patio door. The grids were off a bit and technician RAY came and took measurements to have a replacement window built. RAY was fantastic!On a less than good review, all my windows are Viwinco and in 10 years 4 have had the seal has let loose. The windows come with only a 1-year labor warranty.
My house is new construction (5 years old) and all windows are ViWinco. I had issues with the window tinting on several of the sashes, and they needed to be replaced. That was completed to my satisfaction by the local ViWinco distributor. When I later called with a similar problem plus a new issue with the window latches failing, at that point I got a call directly from Brad Hogan, a ViWinco Sales Rep. Brad explained over the phone to me that the company stands by their products and that my issues would be totally and unquestionably rectified. And get this... He made good on his promise by driving to my house, a 4 hour drive one way from his office. He brought the replacement parts and installed them himself. I mean, how many companies do that these days? Brad's personality, professionalism, and product knowledge are exemplary. I feel I'm not doing him a service by giving him only 5 stars, but apparently that's the gold star for this rating system. Thanks Brad. You're the best!!!
My husband has installed a few Viwinco windows at our home. The first was to replace a kitchen window that was original to our house, went below the counter (so you could see the backside of the counter and all the things that had been lost to the world there!), and had also fallen out of its frame. Yes, it needed to be replaced before it was. But WOW! When he did it about three years ago, what an incredible difference it’s made. We chose a casement window that fit the space appropriately and it is incredible. I love that I can have it open during rainstorms and not have a soaked counter (it’s the little things that make life!). I love the ease of opening it (I do not have to reach over the counter to push it up). And I am so grateful for the quality of the glass and the screen. We have little ones who sometimes sit on the counter, and while we’re consistent about encouraging careful behavior near the screens and with the handle, kids are kids and sometimes they get to them anyway. We have not had any issues with these ones; they are not fragile in any way.More recently, we replaced 10 windows on our front porch, also all original to that space. Initially, it was for ease of use (all had broken window weight ropes) and safety (old lead paint and some cracked glass). What a transformation! It’s like we have a whole new room added to our house. It’s been warmer, cleaner, and I can open all the windows in a minute and enjoy fresh air without a huge hassle. I do not have to worry about windows falling on my kids. I can breathe in the space knowing the old paint is gone and the windows are safe. We’ve also had two unexpected happy surprises! We live on a major road and we noticed immediately that the whole house is quieter thanks to our new windows. And, having lived here for quite some time, I was used to living with windows that did not really lock, but still felt unease about this. Viwinco’s windows not only have a normal lock system, but they have an extra security feature, so that they cannot be opened from the outside even when unlocked; little tabs that can be pushed shut easily to open from the inside, but that an intruder would not be able to reach or even know about on the outside. It’s a sense of security I didn’t realize I was missing, but I appreciate having so much.
I am very happy with my Viwinco s-series windows, It was properly installed and delivered on time. Jonathan was very helpful and very knowledgeable about the windows. I highly recommend this company when you're considering window on your next project
I recently had large Viwinco picture windows installed on my beachfront property and they are absolutely amazing! The windows not only provide stunning views of the beach, but also enhance the overall aesthetic of my condo. The installation process was seamless and the quality of the windows is exceptional. I highly recommend Viwinco for anyone looking to upgrade their windows with a top-notch quality product.
My viwinco doors were installed about 2 years ago. One of the screen doors kept popping off the rails. No one local could help to fix it. I contacted Viwinco. They put me in touch with a rep in my area. He fixed the problem in about 10 mins! I am happy!
