Viwinco Introduces Multiple Window Tags

At Viwinco, we are always striving to improve user experience and make everyday tasks easier for our customers. As part of our ongoing Customer Friendly Initiative for this year, we are thrilled to announce the launch of a new feature: Assigning Multiple Window Tags to a Single Line Item! This update is all about giving you more flexibility and control over your orders, especially when working with multiple units of the same product. 

What’s New?

Previously, VQ2 only allowed one Window Tag per line item, no matter how many units you ordered. Now, you can assign multiple unique tags, one for each unit within the same line item. 

Example:

If you have a line with 10 Double Hung Windows, you can now add 10 different tags. You can use tags like “Living Room Left”, “Bedroom 2” or “Bathroom 1” to distinguish where each unit needs to be installed. 

The Window Tags allow for specific notes such as jobsite install location, to be added to the Shipping Label and Order Acknowledgement. This makes it easier for installers to quickly identify the correct window when they arrive at the job site.  

How Does it Work? 

• After entering your window specs in the Order Entry page, scroll down to the Window Tag section. 

• If your quantity is greater than 1, you’ll see the option to enter multiple tags. 

• Click “New”, type in your tag, and click “Save.” Repeat this for as many tags as you need (up to your total quantity) 

Note: Special characters like ;, |, [, or ] are not permitted and will be automatically replaced.

Why It Matters 

This feature eliminates the need to create separate line items just to assign different tags, saving you time and keeping your quotes organized. By including install-specific notes directly on shipping documents, installers can locate and place windows with speed and accuracy to reduce confusion and save time on the jobsite!
