2024 was both a challenging and incredibly successful year—the most successful in Viwinco’s history. The year flew by with so much happening, and it’s hard to believe it’s already over. As we step into the new year, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the milestones and achievements that made 2024 so memorable. Here’s a look back at some of the highlights from an exceptional year at Viwinco. 

2024 Viwinco Internship 

In 2021 we launched the Viwinco Summer Internship Program. Our internship program provides students with invaluable hands-on experience in their chosen fields while helping them develop essential workplace skills. During this year’s internship, we had the pleasure of welcoming five talented engineering students into our program. These students had the opportunity to tackle real-world challenges and make lasting contributions to their departments, including Maintenance, Human Resources, Marketing, and Manufacturing Engineering. Blue Label Preferred Installer Program 

Earlier in the year, we announced the launch of the Viwinco Preferred Installer Program. This program targets professional installer and remodeler companies in our customer-base who exemplify industry-leading installation practices and proficiencies while installing Viwinco Windows and Doors. These companies work closely with homeowners to provide quality work and products while bringing the homeowner’s remodeling vision into fruition. 

Partnering with a Viwinco Blue Label Installer means that the homeowner will be dealing with the same company from start to finish. This removes ambiguity from the process and ensures the homeowner is aware of what is being done every step of the way. Additionally, since windows and doors are only as good as their installation, it’s important to have a reputable professional handle the install. Partnering with a Viwinco Blue Label Preferred Installer ensures that you are getting a quality installation that allows your windows and doors to perform as they were designed through the life of the product.

Alternatively, preferred installers will take advantage of new ways to differentiate their business, streamline their operations, and drive profitability. The Blue Label Program consists of multiple tiers that each include a curated set of benefits to support installers as they look to grow with Viwinco. This allows installers of all sizes from the smaller family-owned companies to the larger names in the industry to take advantage of the program.

Salesforce Implementation 

One of Viwinco’s goals coming into 2024 was to identify a CRM to support the needs of our customer-facing teams. After researching nearly a dozen different programs, we ultimately decided that Salesforce was the best CRM for us. Following a rapid developmental period with our implementation partner Neuraflash, we went live during the second week of September. Although the core functionality for the program is in place, there is still a lot of development that needs to be done to bring our company vision to fruition. 

At this point, all of our customer facing teams are using Salesforce daily. Salesforce has allowed us to streamline communication between departments, manage customer relationships and enhance the overall experience between Viwinco and our customers. To celebrate a successful launch, we even sent a small team to San Francisco, California to attend Dreamforce, to learn about the latest Salesforce innovations. We look forward to further developing the platform to allow us to better support our customers in 2025. 

Main Building Renovation 

Toward the latter half of 2024, we kicked off our main building renovation project as we take aim at overhauling our vinyl shop. So far in 2024 we were able redo our employee parking lot, replace the windows along the exterior of the building. We were also able to begin installing our new HVAC system, painting the interior of the manufacturing plant, and redesigning the plant floor. Throughout 2025 we plan to continue this project throughout the entire building to mirror the look and feel of our glass facility. Additionally, we are looking to bring in new equipment and machinery to provide an enhanced level of service and quality for our customers. Stay tuned for further updates on our main building renovation project.   

Employee Events and Holiday Spirit 

One of the Viwinco Core Tenets is Employee Wellbeing. To celebrate our employees and show gratitude for the work they do throughout the year, we look forward to hosting various employee events. In 2024, our employee celebrations included the following:  

Treats at Viwinco 

Throughout the year we try to do a variety of small events to show appreciation. For Memorial Day, we brought in a Kona Ice truck to provide flavored ice for our employees. On Labor Day, we brought in a Ritas Ice cart for additional flavored ice. Later in the year we had our annual employee turkey giveaway leading into the Thanksgiving holiday. 

Trunk or Treat 

After an impressive turnout in 2023, we decided to host our 2nd annual trunk -or-treat. Trunk or treats are a great way to get employees, and their families, involved with the company by providing a safe trick-or-treating experience. This year’s event saw a better turnout than 2023, with additional trunk-or-treaters and more decorated trunks! During the event, participants were asked to vote for their favorite trunks. On the following day, the votes were counted and the top three trunks received prizes! 

Halloween Costume Contest 

This year we had our 2nd official Viwinco Halloween costume contest. In years prior, we noticed a number of employees dressing up to show their holiday spirit so in 2023 we made it official and had a company costume contest. In 2024 we had an even greater turnout, and we got to see some employees go above and beyond with their costumes. Additionally, we opened voting to the entire company so everyone could vote for their favorite costumes. The top three winners received Viwinco prizes. 

Holiday Party 

At the start of December, we held our annual Viwinco Holiday Party at the Doubletree Hotel in Reading, PA. The Holiday Party is always a great opportunity for employees and their significant others to celebrate the year alongside their coworkers. During the Viwinco Holiday Party, attendees can enjoy a night of eating, drinking and dancing to a variety of music played by our DJ. This year also saw the return of the photobooth to capture group pictures and provide digital GIF files. To conclude the night, we conducted the holiday raffle to give away a number of big prizes. The Holiday Party is always a great time and we are grateful to the employees who came out to celebrate another successful year with us! 

New Employees

At Viwinco, we strive to be a great partner to our customers. To support this in 2024, we added many new employees to the team, to provide additional support and help us achieve our goals moving forward. Some departments that gained new employees include our sales team, service department, field service and manufacturing operations. Additionally, we welcomed a new Chief Revenue Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer and Chief Operating Officer to our executive team, to be able to provide guidance and structure as we move forward. We were excited to welcome our new employees in 2024 and to see the impact they have already made. We plan to continue hiring additional talent in 2025 to aid us in becoming the best window and door manufacturer! 

Looking Forward

To no surprise, 2024 was a very busy year at Viwinco. As we head into 2025, we now set our sights on some of the significant projects we aim to complete in the new year. We are grateful for the hard work and determination shown by our employees as we work to be the best window and door manufacturer. Between the main building overhaul and some of the other significant departmental focuses, we look to make great progress toward being differentiated as THE customer-friendly window and door manufacturer.
