Viwinco Halloween 2024

Building lasting company traditions and a sense of community is very important to Viwinco, which is why we are proud to celebrate our second year of Halloween celebrations with our employees and their families! This October, we held two events to celebrate Halloween; Viwinco’s 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat and Halloween Costume Contest. 

2nd Annual Trunk or Treat

Trunk-or-Treating is simple; gather volunteers to decorate the trunks of their cars, stock up on candy, and invite a company’s worth of trick-or-treaters! An alternative to trick-or-treating, Trunk-or-Treating gained popularity over the last few years since it is far more convenient, safe, and accessible for young children. After a successful launch last year, our Trunk-or-Treat was even bigger in 2024, with more decorated trunks, new participants, and an increased turnout. 

The same as last year, we held a popularity contest for the best decorated trunk. Trick-or-treaters voted for their favorite trunk by jotting down the trunks corresponding number on a slip of paper. We then tallied the votes to identify our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. This year, we handed out Amazon gift cards for $300, $200, and $100, along with a participation gift of a limited addition Viwinco blanket for those who decorated trunks. This year, we saw a few new faces try their hand at decorating a trunk, including individuals, families, and departments. We’re proud to announce the following winners. 

1st: Nashaly with her “Inside Out” inspired trunk, complete with emotions console and core memory mini-game. 

2nd: Nick with his farm-themed trunk, featuring scarecrows, hay bales, and an assortment of gourds. 

3rd: Patricia with her large arrangement of colorful balloons, including ghosts and witches! 

With even more enthusiasm, participation, and memories made than last year, we’re already looking forward to making Trunk-or-Treat a Viwinco Halloween staple! 

2nd Viwinco Costume Contest 

Adding to the Halloween excitement, we held the 2nd Annual Viwinco Costume Contest. Participants went all out with creative, detailed costumes and our panel of judges evaluated each contestant based on creativity, originality, and effort. This year’s winners truly embodied the Halloween spirit!

As October comes to a closer, we’re proud of the memories created through our Halloween events. Holiday celebrations at Viwinco are about more than just fun— they’re about building a family-oriented culture… and this is just the start of our end-of-year festivities! Soon, we’ll host our turkey giveaway and donation drive, and our highly anticipated holiday party.
