Universal Supply 40th Annual Trade Show
Universal Supply (a division of USLBM) is a building materials supplier for home builders, contractors and remodelers along the Northeast. While it was founded in 1965, Universal Supply just hosted their 40th annual trade show at the Borgata Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The event consisted of multiple workshops, vendor displays and a number of exciting door prizes. This is an event we look forward to every year and were happy to have had the opportunity to once again be a vendor at this year’s show!
Attending the Universal Show
The Universal Supply show is typically well attended, and this year was no different. There were over 1,500 attendees who came out to see the 65 different vendor booths that were on display. The event began early in the day, where vendors arrived and began setting up their booths. After setup, the vendors were invited to a meal hosted by Universal, where a series of awards were presented to some of Universal’s suppliers. After dinner, guests begin to flood the event space, looking to speak with their vendors.
At the Viwinco booth, we showcased a couple product displays, handed out various promotional items and conducted a mini-putt game for the chance at winning a $500 gift card drawing. We made sure our booth was well-staffed to accommodate the flow of visitors and to make sure we had a chance to address any questions or comments. This was a great opportunity for us to discuss the many projects happening at Viwinco such as: our new state-of-the-art glass facility, the progress on our Lean transformation and to discuss overall business conditions.
Reflecting on Universal’s 40th Annual Trade Show
We had a great time at this year’s event and enjoyed meeting with everyone who stopped by our booth. We would also like to say that the New Jersey crowd came ready to play some golf and with that, we would like to congratulate Nicklosi for winning our raffle prize! We want to give a special thank you to the Universal Supply team for having us at this year’s event and congratulate them on a successful 40th annual trade show. We look forward to a successful remainder of the year and for next year’s show!
