How to Clean Viwinco Vanta Windows & Doors
Your Viwinco Vanta windows and doors are built to look great for years, and keeping them that way is simple. With a few common supplies and the right technique, you can clean away everyday dirt, lift streaks, and reduce the appearance of light scratches — all without specialized products or professional help. This guide walks you through each method, from routine cleaning to touching up minor marks, so your windows and doors stay looking their best.
Tools You’ll Need:
- Soft Cloth/Towel
- Mild dishwashing liquid
- Cream based, bleach free, non-abrasive cleaner
- #0000 Steel Wool

Cleaning your Viwinco Vanta Product
Every cleaning method below uses the same technique, a straight, back-and-forth motion that follows the grain of the material. This is the key to a clean finish.
Vinyl has a subtle directional grain. When you clean along that grain in a straight pass, any fine marks left behind blend in with the surface and stay nearly invisible. When you clean in swirls or circles, you work across the grain in every direction at once, which can leave faint circular patterns that catch light and stand out.
For every method below, use straight back-and-forth strokes to follow the grain. No swirls, and no circles.
General Cleaning
Wipe the frame along the grain with a damp cloth. If needed, mild dishwashing liquid can be used.
Shiny and Dull Streaks
Use a cream based, bleach-free, non-abrasive soft cleaner. Apply the cleaner to a soft, damp cloth and apply to the affected area using the cleaning method above. Then, wipe clean with a dry cloth.
Light Surface Scratches & Other Marks
To reduce the visibility of light surface scratches or rub marks on the vinyl, use type #0000 steel wool along the grain of the material.
Gently rub the affected area using a back-and-forth motion along the grain until the mark/scratch is removed.
Once finished with the steel wool, use a cream based, bleach-free, non-abrasive soft cleaner. Apply the cleaner to a soft, damp cloth and apply to the affected area. Then, wipe clean with a dry cloth.
