This is why Viwinco is pleased to announce that we have updated our parental leave policy to a more-forward-thinking approach.
Viwinco’s New Paid Parental Leave Policy
Effective immediately, eligible employees will be provided with up to 4 weeks of paid parental leave following the birth of a child, or placement of a child with an employee in connection with adoption or foster care. The paid parental leave pay is compensated at 100% the employee’s regular pay so that they can focus on their family. This will allow for our employees to provide spousal support, and care for their newborns during the early stages of their lives, which offers a variety of benefits to not only the parents, but the infant as well. Research shows that parents who take parental leave show signs of improved mental health. Parental leave can also provide long-term benefits to a child’s social and emotional development.
